Note Harbor — AI flashcards, cited chat and a study workspace
Note Harbor is an AI knowledge workspace built for students, researchers and lifelong learners. Upload PDFs, paste web pages or add notes and Note Harbor turns them into cited flashcards, practice tests, mindmaps and a spaced-repetition study loop so what you read actually sticks.
What Note Harbor does
- Grounded AI chat — every answer cites the exact source it came from, so you can verify claims.
- Flashcard generation — turn a PDF or an article into 10 concise, cited flashcards in under a minute.
- SM-2 spaced repetition — rate each card Again, Hard, Good or Easy and let the algorithm schedule the perfect next review.
- Practice tests — generate mixed multiple-choice and short-answer exams from your material with instant grading.
- Mindmaps — see the concept map of your sources at a glance, pan and zoom to explore.
- Weak-topic detection — the dashboard surfaces the topics you keep getting wrong so you know what to focus on.
- Full export — CSV (Anki-compatible), Markdown, PDF and .apkg. No lock-in.
Who Note Harbor is for
Students revising for exams, researchers processing a paper backlog, professionals digesting long reports, and anyone with more to read than time to study.
Our study methodology
Note Harbor is built on three learning science principles: active recall — you retrieve answers instead of re-reading; spaced repetition — reviews happen at the optimal moment before forgetting; and grounded generation — AI outputs are always tied to a specific source you uploaded, never to the open web. We use SuperMemo’s SM-2 algorithm to schedule reviews and openly document the exact intervals so you can trust the system.
Pricing
Note Harbor has a Free forever plan with the full study loop included (3 sources per notebook, 50 flashcards a month, all exports). Pro is $12 per month for unlimited sources and cards plus weak-topic analytics. Team is $29 per month for classrooms and study groups.
