What we collect

When you create an account we store your email, name, and (for password sign-in) a bcrypt hash of your password. We store the sources you upload, the notebooks you create, the flashcards we generate and your review history so we can power the study loop and analytics on your dashboard.

How we use your data

Your uploaded content is used to (a) power AI features you request — chat, flashcard generation, mindmaps, practice tests — and (b) show your notebooks back to you. We do not train third-party AI models on your content. We do not sell your data. Ever.

Who sees your data

Nobody but you and the AI models that process your requests. AI requests are sent through Emergent's LLM infrastructure to OpenAI models with data-processing agreements in place; those requests are not used for model training.

Deletion & export

You can export any notebook to CSV, Markdown, PDF or Anki at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email privacy@noteharbors.com. We delete everything within 30 days.

Cookies & analytics

We use a single first-party auth cookie and optional Google Analytics 4 to measure page traffic. No third-party tracking pixels, no ad networks.
